Salary Range: The base hourly range for this role is between $27.00- $32.00 perhour. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equitypackage. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider anumber of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and currentmarket data.

responsibilites
What You’ll Do:
Champion Safety: Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Maintain Parts Room: Manage the parts room clerical functions. Ensure the parts room is organized restocked in a timely fashion. Issue parts and equipment to various departments.
Manage Orders: Generate requisitions for parts and supply orders for shop projects. Track related shipments and packing slips. Receive items in the system.
Code invoices: Provide follow-up on shipments. Ensure Accuracy of Orders. Ensure the accuracy of and check for damage on arriving parts orders. Ensure that the parts are charged to the correct department and equipment.
Provide Support: Support the team by sweeping shop areas. Empty trash, and run a variety of errands. Walk the shop at the beginning and end of each shift. Secure the facility prior to the end of the day. Keep the outside storage neat and orderly.
Operate Equipment: Operate a fork-lift, pallet jack, and other heavy equipment when necessary.
REquirements
Skills You’ll Need:
Education: Must have a highschool degree or its equivalent.
Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Communication Skills: Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer Skills: Must have a working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
Math Skills: Must have basicmath skills.
Ready to Drive: Must have avalid driver’s license.
Organization: Must demonstrate the ability to independently manage the full procurement lifecycle, including tracking complex shipments, coding invoices, and maintaining preciseinventory documentation.
