responsibilites
What You’ll Do:
Promote Safety. Takean active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself andothers at all times in accordance with MSHA and Superior Ready Mix standards.
Operate Equipment. Operate ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal, state, and Superior Ready-Mix regulations. Operate truck to receive a load, evaluate slump, and drive to thejob site. Maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, and clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
Inspect and MaintainEquipment. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections andaccurately complete daily mobile equipment reports. Clean the outside of thevehicle and chutes to ensure the absence of concrete build-up at the end ofeach shift.
Document and RecordInformation. Complete all forms, service reports, tickets, andrequired paperwork to ensure organization of documents and needed paperwork.
Coordinate with Dispatch. Workclosely with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flowof information required to provide good customer service.
Perform General PhysicalActivities. Perform physical activities such as cleaning all areas onthe vehicle, climbing a ladder to inspect loads of ready mix concrete, hangingmixer chutes, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
AdditionalResponsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range. The base hourly rangefor this role is between $28.00 - $36.00 per hour. This range isnot inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. Whendetermining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors,including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

REquirements
Skills You’ll Need:
Ready to Drive. Must possess at least a commercial Class-B driver’s license and have a valid DOT physical or theability to get one.
Knowledge of BestPractices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of operatingand servicing ready-mix trucks is preferred. Experience with Department of Transportation rules and regulations is preferred.
Flexibility. Must bewilling to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and companydemands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions andtolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Customer Focus. Mustbe able to take responsibility for customer relationships and appropriatelyrepresent Superior Ready Mix on job sites and while transporting product onpublic streets and highways.
Clean Driving Record. Musthave a clean and safe driving record and the ability to safely operate andcontrol equipment while on the job.
