We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quarry Repair Person to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our quarries.

responsibilites

·        Perform routine and preventative maintenance on quarry equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screens, and other machinery.

·        Conduct inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards, mechanical issues, and general wear and tear.

·        Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.

·        Collaborate with Quarry Manager to schedule and plan maintenance activities to optimize operational efficiency.

·        Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment condition reports.

·        Participate in safety meetings, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols.

·        Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.

·        Operate heavy machinery as necessary for maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.

·        Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to environmental and safety standards.

REquirements

·        Valid CA Driver’s License.

·        High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in equipment maintenance or related field preferred.

·        Proven experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, preferably in a quarry or similar industrial setting.

·        Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

·        Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to quarry operations.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.

·        Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks in a demanding outdoor environment.

·        Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime.
