The Position
We are looking for a QC Technician to join our QC team in San Diego County. This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to grow a career in a stable field with an industry leader. Experience is preferred, but training is available. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for quality control testing, reporting and evaluation of construction products for conformance to job specifications. The individual will perform field and laboratory testing.
responsibilites
- Coordinate material sampling with plant managers
- Conduct routine QC testing on concrete, asphalt and aggregates
- Document results in database and report to supervisor as needed
- Ensure QC lab is in clean, well-maintained, and safe condition
- Become familiar with and adhere to QC procedures for material sampling and testing
- Work with QC team in ensuring materials are within specification
REquirements
- Must have a valid CA Driver’s license
- Detail oriented – able to follow instructions and technical guidelines
- Strong ability in mathematical calculations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Proficient in use of computer and data entry
- ACI Field certification preferred
- ACI Lab certification preferred
- Quality Control experience preferred
